Einstein is a very rare black and gilt toleware, primitive travel tea caddy box. 

A sturdy metal case containing 3 removable storage tin canisters.

With three removable tin canisters, each with double lid closures.

His box has no key but sure it’s not difficult to find a replacement.

He has so much history, patina and charm.

An Anglo-Indian  Allibhoy Vallijee & Sons (Allbhoy Vullijee & son)a rare find

Dates 1897c

He was originally used as a tea caddie and originates from India

His set has some scratches and wear to the paintwork revealing its silver metal base. The internal and external patina showing it true used vintage charm.
